- Meanwhile, at Lorenzo's office, he was battling with the news of his share prices dwindling. He was on a slippery slope and everything was happening so fast. For the first time, in a very long time, he felt lost.
- "How the hell did all this happen?" Lorenzo howled at his executive members sprawled over the C-shape, fourteen-seater executive table. They were in the conference room for an emergency meeting after the news of his loss got to his ears.
- Nobody dared speak. His eyes held fire as he spoke and knew better than talk back even though he was asking a question.
