Chapter 14

• Lorenzo looked at the idiot he called his best friend who was attached to plastic drip bags on the hospital bed. He was in a much better state than the rest of the people he had in his car, but that wasn’t what mattered to Lorenzo. He had already paid off all the hospital bills and he had waited since he got to the hospital till day break.
• Dolan had been there too, he was lying down in the waiting room, sleeping. Lorenzo squeezed his friend’s arm.
• “Sir, please go and sit down. He is stable.” A nurse who came in said. Lorenzo took one last look at Antonio before he left the room without saying anything.
