Chapter 6

  • Chapter 6: I am accused.
  • "Tell me. How did it happen?." I bent down on the desk. She pulled me up and slowly held out my hands in hers. A worried look on her face with her ear pecking up to hear from me.
  • "I don't know how it happened." I finally said. She breathed out and nodded. "It's bound to happen." I raised my brows.
  • "I mean..Stefan's handsome, everyone wishes to have him." She said, I rolled my eyes.
  • "I'm not everyone. I just feel something different for him. It's a sort of..we are made for each other. Like there's really something about him that draws me near to him. I know I barely know him but I feel like I've known him all my life." I explained.
  • "I think you should stay away from him. I know I like him but not to the point of obsession. Please stay clear until you are able to control your feelings." She advised me. I concurred.
  • "For how long?. He has stalked me since I avoided him, and I feel like the more I stay away, the more I feel connected to his soul."
  • Molly and I went back to class. Surprisedly, the principal was in class. I looked at Stefan and he was looking back at me. His gray iris's very enchanting that I thought of staring at it all day. "Miss Wilson." The principal called my attention to herself.. I turned to look at her.
  • "Come to my office, now." She commanded coldly and left. I was surprised at how mean she sounded. The principal had never spoken to me like that before, and I suspected something was wrong somewhere. I look at Molly and I bet she thought the same. "Did you do something?" She whispered. "No. I didn't."
  • I knocked lightly at her door. "Come in and sit down." I heard her say from inside. I opened the door and walked in. I closed it behind and went to sit. She was inscribing on a paper and never looked up. I thought of what I must have done but nothing came up.
  • She finally dropped the book and looked up.
  • "Miss Wilson. Take a look at this." She said and handed me a file. I was confused though I stretched out my hand and collected it. "Open it." She said, I gave her a weird look before opening the file, I brought out a copy of documents and went through it.
  • It shows the school fundraiser was stolen, and pictures of how the money was extracted, drawn. "How is this possible?" I asked her.
  • She looked at me and cleared her throat, "We noticed a change in the system yesterday, so we went through the slot and we found out that someone was actually using her password to extract money from the fund. We looked into this matter carefully and therefore traced the hacker. To cut the long story short, we found that it was you that was hacking into the fundraise system."
  • I think I might have heard double right now but the principal is not one that you could play with or that plays most of the time. "You must be mistaken. I don't know anything about this."
  • "You are with the evidence, moreover it is possible for an exco's password to hack into the fund."
  • "But I didn't do it. I swear I didn't. Something must be wrong somewhere, I think I must have been framed. Please believe me."
  • Was someone playing a fast trick on me?. Who could have framed me with such a crime?. "Please leave my office." She ordered and opened her laptop. She didn't look or utter any word after that and so I stood up and left.

  • I sat inside the class with Molly and Tyson trying to understand what just happened in the principal's office. Tyson was checking through my phone while Molly and I just sat watching each other. "I think I know how the person hacked through your password." Tyson announced, I and Molly looked at him inquisitively.
  • "He\she had your laptop hard drive inserted into another system." He said.
  • "So you're telling me that someone unscrewed my laptop and stole my disk, used it to hack into the school system with my password and framed me up." They both nodded. "Who the fuck did that?"
  • Molly held my arm. "That's what we really need to find out right now, and the only solution to your problem right now is to get your laptop to school, I think that should serve as an evidence that you never stole from them."
  • "It's not enough." I mumbled. "But it's something." Molly assured me.
  • ~
  • "Elena Wilson?." A blonde girl asked as I was about to get into the car with Molly. We both turned.
  • "Yeah. I'm Ellie." She nodded. "Okay, you're not allowed to leave the school premises now. Please go inside." I look at Molly and then back at molly. "Molly, please find my laptop. It's on top of my bed."
  • I and the freshman student walked through the hallway to the principal's office. I was made to sit and never to leave the office. The student sat opposite me and watched me, well they really think I stole from them, what do you expect?. Is Julia behind this?.
  • But she has not been home for several days and only came back today. Who else went to my bedroom?. Julia dislikes me but I seriously think she wouldn't go this far.
  • A while later, with this girl who was pressing her phone, although her mind seemed to be on her phone, she was continuously stealing glances at me to show that she was watching my every movement. I can't believe I was being held like a criminal. "Miss Wilson, come with me." She stood up and said.
  • It baffled me as everyone who knew me referred to me as Miss Wilson and not my name. Both the teachers and students called me this name, and now the freshman student was getting acquainted with it.

  • I've never been this nervous before, standing in the middle of the room with the school authorities. Chloe was standing by the side glaring hard at my figure. Chloe is the only daughter of the dean. She was the only person who stood while others settled down.
  • My hand was crossed at the back, studying all of them.
  • "Miss Wilson. Relax, we'll detain you when it's time." Dean said, giving me a very hateful glare. Okay, something's fishy. I literally believe that there was more to this.
  • "Your mother is here. We shall proceed."
  • "What?" I turned back instantly and saw mom taking low strides into the hall. She stopped and glared at me, knowing something was wrong. She was, however , offered a seat at the table.
