Chapter 29 Going Nowhere

• I can’t sleep. My eyes remain open through out the night, fixed on the wall clock as it mocks my tear stained cheeks with its ticks.
• My body had given me control when my heat ended but I refuse to move. The little pain between my thigh stops me from doing so, and so does Sebastian’s heavy arm on my waist.
• All I can listen to are his snores and sleepy grunts, though even in this stillness of mine I can only think of how to end his life even though he takes me with him.
