Chapter 47

A few seconds after his command, Eleanor felt strong manly hands hold her arm, roughly pulling her from the ground. She helplessly tried fighting against them, despite knowing it was obviously futile. They dragged her down to the dungeon and locked her up in a cell.
Eleanor curled up on the floor, sobbing silently. Maybe she should have told him not to go with her, this wouldn't have happened. She doesn't need anyone to tell her if anything happens to him, they'd definitely kill her . And there would no one to save her. She wasn't scared for herself, she was scared of loosing the only person she loved dearly. The one who has been good to her and didn't treat her anymore like a slave.
She endangered his life and the life of her people. She hates to think if anything happens to him, the king would make her people also suffer it. Worst of all he can choose to eliminate her. What the hell was she thinking all this while ? That this would be a fairytale with no life threatening challenges. Now the one she was probably imagining having a perfect life with might actually die because of her. And if he dies, she'd definitely be killed and it's loss on both sides. They would end up dying for nothing, no happy ending.
