Chapter 39 Made up her mind

• The dark Sala and the one that opened up to me. But it was no obstacle for me to see where I was going because of the beam of light coming from the kitchen. I looked at it and saw no one.
• Is he alone here? The sound of our feet echoed in the whole house, especially as I climbed the stairs to go up to the bedroom. I thought he would never follow me but when I heard his footsteps I was wrong. I accelerated my pace even more so that he could not reach me.
