Chapter 57 Hold me a little longer

• She wanted Cainan more than anything, but she also knew what they had was strictly based on an agreement and she wanted to leave it that way. Cainan was also unpredictable with his words and actions and often said what he didn't really mean, especially when he was around her or referring to her. A couple of times she had fallen for his words and actions only to regret it much later.
• Their job was to convince everyone and Cainan in the last couple of months had been doing a marvellous job at it and she needed to keep doing the same.
• "Daddy is home!" Daniel informed Ada whose eyes lit up at the words and she quickly turned away, giving room for Jasmin to finally breathe. Ada untied the apron from around her neck before tossing it to the counter and walking out.
