Chapter 6 Is That All

• Both of them were soaking wet as they went back to bed. Once again, he unleashed all his energy on her. During the process, he repeatedly smirked at her and forced her to call him “brother.”
• Hua Shengan begged for his mercy over and over again. But he only became more aggressive because he liked the arousal he was feeling.
• She woke up to realize that she was all alone in the room, and Xiao Chengjue was nowhere to be seen.
• She then went out in a bathrobe. A maid was waiting for her by the door. She was holding a full set of clothes and an exquisite little box. “Ms. Hua,” she addressed politely, “Mr. Xiao specially prepared these for you.”
• “Where is he?”
• “The ship has docked and Mr. Xiao went back to his company. He told me to stay here with you until you wake up.”
• “Thanks for your hard work.” She smiled at the maid before accepting the items.
• She got dressed quickly and noticed that all of the clothes were exactly her size. Her face turned crimson as she thought about it. Xiao Chengjue was more considerate and attentive than she had expected.
• After sitting down on the couch, she unwrapped the box and found a car key inside. It belonged to the latest model of Bugatti Veyron.
• She played with the car key while looking at the phone that was also inside the box. Suddenly she felt like she had hit the jackpot with him.
• In the past, she would've felt disgusted with herself.
• But strangely, she enjoyed it now.
• Now that she had decided to get involved with Xiao Chengjue, she should just accept everything he gave her. There was no need to feel embarrassed about it. Even if there were things that she didn't need at all.
• She went straight to the car after getting off the cruise ship and proceeded to Dingfeng Group.
• While she was on her way, Hua Shengan turned on the mobile phone that Xiao Chengjue gave her. As expected, there was only one phone number in the contact list, which was his.
• She put her hesitation aside and dialed the number.
• It rang for quite some time before she heard his relaxed voice on the other line. “You're awake.”
• “Yes. Thanks for the gifts.”
• “That's all you want to thank me for?”
• “Ah, and also for helping me deal with the police.”
• “And?”
• “And what?”
• “You forgot about it?” he sounded displeased but continued in a low voice. “Seems like I haven't 'tortured' you enough.” He deliberately emphasized that word.
• She stopped the car on the side of the road, “You...Can you not say such embarrassing things early in the morning?”
• He laughed at her bashfulness. “Hmm. Didn't you ask your ex-boyfriend and Hua Ranran to go for a sperm test? I thought you'd like to hear me say things like this,” he teased.
• “That's enough!” She gritted her teeth, “I have things to do at the company. You should go ahead with your work too! Don't forget what you've promised me! Bye!” She immediately hung up. But his smirk lingered in her mind and gave her a shudder.
• Meanwhile, Qian was in the midst of reporting the information obtained from their investigation on Hua Shengan.
• Disregarding him, Xiao Chengjue turned away to speak with Hua Shengan on the phone. Qian was especially uncomfortable when he heard their raunchy conversation.
• He covered his ears and wished that he could just vanish into thin air.
• Xiao Chengjue was in a good mood afterwards as he tapped the table with a pen. “Please continue. Where were we?”
• “We were at the part where Ms. Hua boarded the cruise ship with her boyfriend, Luo Tian. So it was obviously a scheme against her. Ms. Hua was oblivious to it at first. But somehow, she found out about it later on and jumped into your swimming pool.”
• “Her life is so miserable,” Xiao Chengjue voiced out.
