Chapter 5

• Rose POV
• I walked into the dining room very moody, maybe my period was coming, that thing comes without any notice but then I noticed my mark is burning, I kept rubbing it to get the burns away but it was getting worst and driving me crazy "are you okay" my mother asked me with a concerned look on her face
• "I don't know, my mark is burning and my wolf is not okay" the pain is getting worse and my wolf is weeping in my head
• "her mate is trying to mark someone else, his mark on hers is responding to it," my father who was just coming out said seeing me and rushing t my side to support me
• "My wolf wants to come out" I must have screamed that cause I surely screamed that in my head
• "it is not yet time for you to shift until next week and your mate is not here" my mother tries to provocate with me
• My wolf sky said I should let her out so I just give her the permission and the pain is too much for me
• "father see, she shift into her wolf without any pain and her mate is not here " I heard my brother voice
• "I think it because half of his mark is still on her, we should get her outside" I heard my father said
• I followed him out into the wood, my wolf is still sad so she just stood still and continue to stare all around, she wants her mate as I do also but he is not ours again, he mark someone else
• "Rose, if you don't want to go on a run, shift back so you can rest," my father said, he is the former beta before my brother, they both can feel my pain cause I was their Luna
• " am not Rose, am her wolf sky"
• "Oh Sky, you have to shift back, your fur is white and it can bring trouble if people see you like this"
• My wolf just nods in understanding and shift, all my body was aching after shifting that Danny volunteer to carry my naked body inside. It is not his own first time seeing me naked cause sometimes I used to walk naked around the house to annoy him, after all, he is my brother, and also werewolves aren't bothered about their nakedness.
• He carried me to my room, laying me on the bed and pulling my duvet over me "you will be okay Rose, I promise you, I will always be there for you" my brother said kissing my forehead as I let the blackness consumed me.
• The next day
• I walked into the school, I don't feel like interacting with other people but they kept staring back at me which makes me and my wolf uncomfortable, what they don't know is my wolf is broken, so also is me and I don't have time for their gossip this morning, I should have followed my parent advise and just stay home
• "Rose, are you okay," my brother asked immediately we reach the hall
• " Am fine" I said giving my brother a fake smile and hug
• Danny just smiled at her to encourage her cause he knew she was not, Alpha or not, he was gonna deal with that asshole that breaks his sister.
• I left my brother and walked into my first class for the day and saw my best friend Bryan smiling at me "here comes the soon celebrant, why are you not in school yesterday"
• I hug him feeling alive as I saw my only best friend back" I missed you, you didn't tell me you will be back today"
• "I came back yesterday and please I can't breathe"
• She released him immediately " am sorry, you know it's being a long I have seen my only best friend with me"
• "Am flattered, you will soon meet your mate and forget about me"
• Just then Madison entered "hey, Rose you are here already I missed you"
• Madison is Bryan mate and they went on vacation to get to know each other very well and now she is like a sister to Rose
• " Am glad to see you are still alive and Bryan here didn't kill you, are you sure am not an auntie yet" I wanted to tease her
• "Common, don't be nasty and give me a hug" she hugged her "I was looking for you so that you will give me the hot gist you have for me, I also heard that you found your mate"
• My mood changed instantly, how did they know, no wonder everyone was staring at her today
• "You found your mate and I was not the first person to know," Bryan said looking at her and trying to look disappointed
• " Am sorry Bryan, it turns out my mate those not want me"
• "What do you he does not want you" he stopped for a second and sniffed me "you smelled different, have you both mate"
• I suddenly feel embarrassed "no, I told you he does not want me"
• Madison who was still holding my hand finally speak up "is that not a mark on your neck" she kept staring at it until she realize " you are mated to alpha Jasper"
• I was confused, I thought my mark was gone, how come she is seeing a mark again, I touch the spot but it burns "he marked someone else yesterday, the mark was supposed to fade away"
• Bryan was so confused, Jasper was her mate but why will he not want her. The teacher comes in and Bryan whispered to me "we are going to finish this conversation after class"
• I nodded anyway and sat beside Madison, I can't sit in the middle of these two else I will not see the end of it, they are never going to allow me to concentrate on what the teacher is teaching, but they did not do their usual love play, I guess they don't want me to feel bad.
