• I have just finished setting the dining table when Nick comes in, dressed smartly for work, with his briefcase in his hand. “Ooh! Someone’s looking good.” I compliment him, as he takes his seat at the dining table, dropping his briefcase on the floor, by his chair.
• “I always look good.’ He says with a proud look on his face, making me roll my eyes, as I walk into the kitchen to get glass cups for the wine since I forgot about it.
