Chapter 2 She is his mate

• "Ahhh" A lady at the back of Timothy and Daniel screamed out in pain from the gunshot aemond shot at her.
• Daniel and Timothy turned their head back to see who screamed
• They saw a lady with a dark brown-colored hair on the floor and in pains, werewolves sight are the keenest.
• Aemond laughed, when Timothy said he couldn't kill Daniel that was when he saw a scapegoat coming in their direction
• 'a human' aemond thought and knew it was the right target because it was one of the alpha's king people.
• "You fucking bastard" daniel yelled out in anger, he sped towards where aemond and Kristen were standing, aemond who was laughing like an insane person didn't realize when Daniel came to his back.
• Daniel brought out his claws and dived them into aemond's neck causing aemond to drop Kristen who he was carrying
• "Arghhhhh, Kill me but don't forget one of your people is dying," aemond said those words in pain but he was still trying to provoke him so he laughed and it irked daniel, Daniel dung his claws deeper into his neck and used his fangs to bite him at the other side of his neck, Aemond fell down dead within a minute
• Timothy ran towards where the injured lady was, The lady who was shot was on the floor squeaking in pain, the bullet went through her left hand around the upper part of her shoulder.
• "Are you okay?" Timothy asked her once he was beside her, 'Oh no that bastard' Timothy cursed aemond inwardly, he was expecting aemond to shoot him after what he said who knew that he already found a prey to shoot at their back and what was the lady doing that she didn't try to dodge the bullet or scream when she saw aemond pointing the gun at her or didn't she see it coming.
• Different types of thoughts were going through Timothy's mind, he gave up and helped the lady up
• "I...am..fi"The lady who was injured, Liliana didn't finish her sentence before she went unconscious
• "Shit" Timothy cursed, the bullet was not an ordinary bullet it was specifically made for werewolves and was mixed with wolfsbane and mountain ash it was deadly and could kill a werewolf within minutes, for the strong werewolves like alphas and betas If not treated on time they could sustain for two hours more, but not to talk of humans with weak bodies it could kill them instantly he could only pray she survives it at least till they got to the palace which was still a little bit far from the forest they were in.
• Timothy brought two of his fingers up to check if Liliana was still alive by pressing them on a vein spot on her neck, fortunately, she was still alive
• Daniel was already by their side and he asked Timothy "Is she dead " Daniel was worried when he saw her closed eyes.
• "No, but she needs to be treated before the bullet effect takes over" before he finished his sentence Daniel took Liliana from timothy's hand and carried her in a princess style while walking out of the forest. Timothy picked up the bag on the floor where he carried Liliana, he checked the contents and saw a gown inside
• He went to pick up the gun beside aemond's dead body, but Kristen was still unconscious Daniel who passed that side with Liliana in his hand glanced at Kristen and said "Don't kill him, let's buy some time" he said that and kept on walking out of the forest this time around in fast paces more like leaping.
• He wanted to kill both of the rogues, especially aemond that annoyed him the most and he did but killing Kristen will only cause chaos and they needed to buy time until they come up with a good plan since he was not interested in fulfilling their terms.
• Timothy watched him leaping, he really wanted to ask him why they actually needed to let him live, time might be needed but how does it affect killing him he was not so sure.
• Timothy kept the gun and went after Daniel and Liliana.
• Once they reached the palace, daniel immediately told the maids to get the royal physician and he went into one of the rooms in his quarters
• He entered the room and dropped Liliana on the bed, Liliana was carrying a purse around her neck so he tried removing it from her body, his hand touched her neck when he reached for the rope of the purse and he felt a spark
• "What was that" he muttered and withdrew his hand, he reached for the rope again and he felt the same spark just then the physician entered the room and he greeted the king, Daniel.
• "Greetings Alpha king" The physician entered with his assistant a woman. Daniel waved at them and told them to check up on Liliana, he left her side and went to stand in front of the bedpost to allow the physician to check up on Liliana
• The physician saw the wound on Daniel's waist still bleeding and knew it was unusual " Alpha king what of your wound, it seems to be severe" the physician noted
• Daniel looked at his wound and touched it, he winced a little "treat her first, it is not severe" he told them and the physician bowed in agreement and continued working on Liliana. Daniel didn't leave the room and kept on thinking about the spark he felt when he touched Liliana, he kept on staring at Liliana.
• "The bullet has been removed and we have treated her, she only needs to rest now" after thirty minutes the physician informed Daniel who didn't leave the room the entire time.
• "Okay" he glanced at her while the physician and his assistant left the room leaving him alone
• He went to sit beside the bed and thought of the spark he felt earlier, the reason he didn't leave the room was that he wanted to know what caused the spark and if he really felt it or it was just a fade, so he grabbed her hand and he felt the spark again 'why am I feeling this spark' while thinking an idea came to his mind, his emotionless eyes changed a little with amusement from what he just found out
