• When I returned to my office, I noticed that Kim was acting different. She was quite civil and refrained from making impertinent comments that used to annoy me. She even apologized to me for what she did. I didn't know what was going on with her but I hoped it would continue. She was much more bearable with her mouth closed. I found it odd that she worked really hard during those days and was willing to help out.
• Zane and I had barely talked since the time we accidentally kissed which was a relief for me because I couldn’t tell how the conversation would go. The staff at the company got busier towards the end of the month so there was that too. There were reports to write, projects to evaluate, meetings and so much data to analyze leaving very little time for chitchat among us all. Somehow we all survived and the last week rolled by.
