Chapter 17 Erotically Hot

• I watched in horror glued to the ground as it's mouth dropped open. The cracking squelch of its jaw splitting into two made my stomach to quiver with terror. Too many teeth were to sharp teeth in a grotesquely salivating mouth. Drool dripped from it's chin as those evil eyes stared at me with unbridled hunger.
• When the Monster lunged forward so did Lucas. The creature sniffed the air, drawn to me, coming for me with reflective eyes on my throat. Lucas jumped snatching the monster by the back of his neck. They moved in a frenzy. As the monster scrambled closer to me at every twist and turn, Lucas was there to fight his efforts.
• While the sheriff appeared to be the powerful man to the first monsters, this monster appeared to be more than an equal to the other monsters l saw before. This one was so strong and they rivaled in size with each blow as strong as the others. With the distraction of the fight, l stole a moment to push myself back to my legs.
