Chapter 15 You Smell So Good

• Whoever or whatever was stepping from the darkness and into the street light had nothing but malicious intent towards me. A notion that I could somehow feel emanating from them. It didn't matter that every rational thought in my mind screamed at me to run away. It didn't matter that I knew if this beastly figure crouching and stalking forward, got their hands on me, l will be a goner.
• It didn't matter that I could almost feel my death in the air because my body couldn't move no matter how desperately l wanted it. A strangled choke escaped out of my mouth as the predator stepped more closer to the street light. Illuminated they were inarguably human. I would have bet money on them being a normal person based on the glimpse on their faces.
• A mid forties woman with auburn hair stepped fully under the light. She lost the glow reflecting in her eyes at that moment. I could still feel the waves of something coming from her. How could I feel it? I didn't know but I could feel it in the back of my mind. I was experiencing the brunt of this woman's enranged hunger.
