- "Please stop!" I scream out, crying and begging. I just want it to stop. Luna Kate is taking some of the pain, but I am breaking. I cannot take much more.
- Noah strikes me across the face. "Give in to me, Alanis. Say it! Say you will be mine. Release Alpha Sebastian as your mate and become mine," Noah says, hitting me again.
