• I awake in a cage, again. For the second time in my life, I am confined. This time by someone who is more psychotic than the last wolf that locked me away. This one is delusional and crazy. I look around the room and see him, and he is staring at me, looking at me and wanting me. I can sense his want for me. His raw desire for me, and it grosses me out.
• "We are supposed to be together, but your mother, Jasmine, she sent you away to be with Merril and his bitch. You were supposed to be my mate," Conrad growls. His wolf is fighting to take over, and I am afraid. I know that his wolf wants me. He will take my body for his. My body belongs to my husband, not this crazy wolf.
