Chapter 32

• Conrad POV
• Alpha Erick and Alpha Sebastian both arrive at my cabin. I send Iris to deal with them. She can talk to them sweetly while I leave. If both of them are occupied, this is the perfect time to take Alanis. I go out the back and shift into my wolf. I run as fast as I can across the field and deep into the woods. I can go across the creek and down to the side of the wolf territory. I can be at the Alpha's packhouse before they realize I am not at the cabin.
• The wind whips through my fur as I run through the woods and make it to the clearing beside the packhouse. I stop and watch for a moment. I can smell her. I know Alanis is in there with Luna Kate. I only need for her to come outside, and I can take her away from her to be mine. I wait and wait, watching and smelling her sweet scent.
