Chapter 6

• I honestly don’t know how to react to this new piece of information. So I am not only mated to a human but to a hunter’s son. Why didn’t the shaman inform me of this piece of information?
• “Do you know my father?” Alex asked.
• “Of course every werewolf knows who Taifun is!”. I uttered before I realize what I just did. I just informed him that I am a werewolf.
• “Wait, you are a werewolf?”. Alex asked. There is no point of denying it and so I nod my head. Alex then shifted away from me.
• “Is that why I am here? Because you want to use me and take revenge on my father?”. Alex asked.
• “What? No! Where did you get such ideas from? I did not know Taifun Is your father until a moment ago!” I defended myself. I can’t believe I am defending myself. Jason will laugh if he sees me like this. I usually just ignore any accusations. But then this is my mate we are talking about here.
• “Then why can I be here? Are you trying to make me your sex slave?.” Alex asked, making me to laugh. A sex slave seriously? I can have any werewolf I want at my beck and call ready to please me.
• “I must admit, you have wild imagination!”. I said in between my laugh.
• “Well you can’t blame me for thinking this way. I woke up lying next to you and you have already kissed me twice this morning!”. Alex pointed out.
• “Why are you making it sound like I forced you? Tell me, did you enjoy the kiss?” I teased.
• “I did! It just, I .. o forget it!”. Alex pouted. He looks adorable doing that. I stood and moved to him and pecked him before coming back to my seat.
• “You are so adorable kitten!.” I stated making him blush.
• “How much do you know about wolves?.” I asked him.
• “Well a lot! There are many books about wolves in the camp and so I read them!.” Alex said.
• “Do you know about mates?.”
• “Yes! Soulmate bonded by the moon goddess!.” Alex explained.
• “And how will mates recognize each other?.” I ask, looking at him.
• “Well, they will feel sparkles when they touch each other, they will always want to stay next to each other. They will…” Alex paused as if he realized something.
• “No way!.” Alex murmured. “We are?” He looked at me.
• “Yes kitten, we are mates!.” I confirmed his thoughts.
• “O my!” Alex said and sank into his seat.
• “You don’t seem happy about that revelation!.” I felt hurt from his reaction.
• “What no! I am just surprised. I honestly never imagined myself with a wolf!.” Alex explained.
• “Okay what now?.” I asked him. The cards are in his hand. No matter how happy I am about finding my mate, I will never force myself on him if he chooses to reject me.
• “I don’t know! Aren’t you angry that I am Taifun's son? I am sure every werewolf hates him! And here you are mated to his son!.” Alex exclaimed.
• “Why should I be angry? You are not your father. Moreover you told me he had disowned you already! But just for the record, are you also a Hunter?.” I needed to know that he is one and he prepared in case a pack is going after him.
• “No I am not! That’s the reason why my father disowned me! I keep messing up with his plans of attacking werewolves packs. He grew tired and decided to get me out of his way!.” Alex explained and I let out a breath I didn’t know I was holding. One problem solved! Ninety nine more to go.
• “That’s good to hear! We are now good to go!.” I smiled at him.
• “Which pack do you belong to?.” Alex asked me. It's actually good that my mate knows about werewolves already. It's going to save me a lot of strength.
• “The River Blue pack! Have you heard of it?.” I asked him.
• “Of course. It is said to be one of the biggest and most powerful werewolf packs!.” Alex stated.
• “That’s right!.” I smiled at him. I am not sure he has realized that I am an alpha.
• “Hey you also have the same as Alpha! I heard that he is very ruthless and heartless! Is it true? That he threatens his pack members with an iron hand!.” Alex said. Nice to know that this is what the hunters have been saying about me.
• “I don’t think you got your information from the correct source. Ruthless? Maybe and that is when it is necessary. Apart from that, the pack members have been treated nicely.” I said.
• “Why are you taking it personally? You must really admire your Alpha or maybe you are the ALPHA HIMSELF?”. Alex screamed the last part.
• “Wait you right?”l Alpha Adonis of the River Blue Pack!.” Alec said when I didn't not responded to his assumption.
• “Nice to meet you too soon to be Luna of the River Blur Pack!” I smiled at Alex who suddenly frowned. Humans! You can never understand what they are feeling!.
• “You are not possibly planning on making me your Luna are you?.” Alex asks with sadness in his voice.
• “Of course I am! Why do you think otherwise?”
• “Well that’s because I read in one of the historic books about werewolves that only a weak Alpha keeps a human mate. And you are among the most powerful Alphas!” Alex explained. I had planned on keeping this piece of information from him until I sorted things out. Well it seems he knows about it already.
• “That’s just old generation stuff. It’s not valid in this present world!”. I smiled at him. I just hope I sound believable.
• “But still..” Alex started to say before I cut him off!
• “Stop worrying yourself, nothing is going to keep you away from me! You are stuck with me!”. I winked at him. The last thing I want is for him to start worrying about these things.
• “So does that mean you are not going to reject me?”. Alex asked with a look of hope on his face.
• “No I am not! In Fact, I Alpha Adonis Ryan of the River Blue Pack accepts Alex Taifun as my soulmate!.” I smiled as I stared into his eyes.
• Alex gave me a heart touching smile.
• “So what happens next?.” He asked me.
• “We make out!” I answered as I reached out to him. Alex leaned unto my touch we spent the whole morning making out.
• At noon, we finally let go of each other.
• “I just realized something!.” Alex exclaimed.
• “What is that?.” I asked
• “None of us brush this morning!.” Alex Uttered swinging his arms.
• “And so?”. I raised my brows at him.
• “That’s what you will say? We kissed each other! You shared your bacteria!”. Alex said, making me start laughing! I surely got myself an over-thinker.
• “Don’t overthink it! Nothing will happen! Why do you go and be fresh? There is an extra brush and a towel in the sink drawer.” I suggested.
• “That might be a good idea! What about you?.” Alex asked.
• “Do you want me to join you for the shower? I don’t mind!.” I winked at him as I licked my lower lip.
• “What? No! I don’t mean it like that!.” Alex stamped his feet on the ground before running to the bedroom. I laughed at his reaction. I can surely get used to this.
• When Alex goes to take his shower, I use this medium to communicate with Jason.
• “Jason, how is everything in the Pack?.” I asked him through the mind link.
• “Morning to you too Alpha!” Jason said.
• “Jason…” I gave him a warning call.
• “Well everything is going on well. I am just still thinking of a reason to give to the pack members on why their Alpha decided to take a vacation at a moment like this!.” Jason spat. Jason is the only one that can talk to me like things and go free. He is like a brother to me. We have been friends since we were born.
• “Well it’s none of anyone's business if I decide to go vacation and moreover, I am not on vacation. I just want to be alone!.” I fired at Jason

• “Whatever you say Alpha!” Jason murmured.
• “What about the Hunter? Has he been found?” I asked.
• “Yes! The guards caught him this morning! He was about to attack another pack member!.” Jason explained.
• “Good! Very good! Keep him in the dungeon! I will come and torture himself!.” I ordered and closed the mind link.
• I went to the kitchen and decided to make us something to eat.
• After we were done eating, we spent the whole afternoon watching movies and getting to know each other.
