• Tony let out a sigh as he pondered how he had been able to maintain his friendship with a strange individual such as Jace for more than a dozen years.
• Although Jace did care about, or one could even say that he placed a high priority on, his son, he had never allowed photographs of his son to be displayed in public, and the reason for this was because he wanted to keep his son safe.
• In a similar vein, photographs of his wife Nancy had never been seen anywhere, despite the fact that outsiders believed he was trying to shield her from the public eye.
