Chapter 18

• No one had been expecting the quake and no one had expected the blast either. He had been in the room with the general before all the destruction. When he came to, he was underneath the entire thing, but he didn’t dwell on that. The king was first and foremost.
• The communication was dead and there was no power in any part of what was once the great castle. Then he went checking for the King and he wasn’t in there. Neither were the other leaders. He was certain that he wasn’t dead. None of them were dead because there was no body.
• Yes they have been given a fatal blow, but they couldn’t just sit down while their king was fighting for them. He and a couple of others had gone around to check for survivors and others who could stand up to go to battle. Getting back to the castle, the royal family and they were ready.
