Chapter 16
- Five years have passed since then.
- Now they are twenty years old and I have overcome that humiliating part of my life. My parents claim that Miranda has changed, but I know better. You could say that she is the black sheep of the family. That sheep only hides among her relatives to hide what she really is.
- When I stand in front of my parents' house again, I take a deep breath. Inside is her. I feel anxious, nervous and even sick to my stomach not wanting to go inside. I am ready to leave, but the voice of a young man calling my name as he runs towards me catches my attention. I can't quite make out his image perfectly. When I see him closer, I am filled with happiness. It is my brother, Edmon. Excited, he hugs me effusively. I laugh in disbelief at how much his body has changed over the past five years.
