Chapter 27 Backfires

- I could feel Alex's lips against my forehead but i was too sleepy and weak to even open my eyes or say anything. I heard retracted footsteps and then the door shut. I finally managed to open my eyes and glanced at my alarm clock beside me. I stretched my hand forward to grab it and set it.
- I closed my eyes trying to fall back to sleep but i just couldn't,all trails of sleep seemed to be lost already.
