Chapter 2 Award Ceremony

• Once they Reached the campus Amaya got down from the car and checking the surroundings,
• she studied there for 2 years, she had lot of memories with her friends and teachers.
• when she was immersed in her thought, she heard someone calling her, it was her best friend Praghya Mehra
• She also belongs to the same city of Amaya’s, but they met here in the university and soon became besties.
• Amaya smiling at her friend and soon they came near to each other and hugged each other.
• Praghya "Wow! Amaya you look so stunning"
• Amaya" Thank you praghya I love you and You are the best"
• Praghya" I admire you a lot Ami, but I am sorry I love boys"
• soon both the friends brushed into laugher, and they got interrupted by Gowtham's voice.
• Praghya started staring at Gowtham, she likes him a lot but she knows he loves amaya, so she never expressed her feelings to him and remained as his friend.
• Amaya looked at Praghya, she knows her feelings to gowtham she also encouraged praghya to express her feelings but praghya never expressed them to him.
• "Hey girls what are you laughing at?" Gowtham words made them to come back to their senses
• "It’s a girl talk" Amaya replied.
• "ohhh" Gowtham replied, soon they heard an announcement to gather all the graduates to seminar hall,
• soon three of them reached the hall and found their seats.
• Gowtham and praghya seats are beside each other where Amaya seat is in front row as she was the one to be honored
• soon the ceremony begins, and chief guest was arrived.
• Amaya felt very happy after listening to the name of Chief guest it was Mr. Charlie Oberoi, who was also known as king of business in California, he was a man in his 60's, he was founder and developer of HK group of Company, he run his company successfully and now it was hand over to his grandson, he was also a man with principles and values.
• Amaya always admires him for his strategies and ideologies in business.
• She was very happy to receive the award from her admirer today.
• Soon the event started, all the students received their certificates.
• "It’s time to call topper of the university Miss Amaya goenka to come on to the stage and receive medal for her achievements" host announced
• soon there was a round of applause in the audience and Amaya went to stage,
• she greeted everyone and she received the medal from Mr. Charlie Oberoi.
• "Congratulations and all the best for your future" Charlie blessed Amaya,
• "Thank you so much sir, it’s my honour to receive medal from you" Amaya replied.
• Charlie liked Amaya a lot, before coming to the hall in the room of university dean he came to know about amaya grades and her internship, he was very much fond of her talent in business,
• he wants to offer a position for her in HK group, but he came to know she was returning to her country, and she rejected offers from many companies.
• both smiled and taken their positions on the stage
• It was time for Amaya's speech
• "I dedicate all my achievements to My family, Friends and teachers, without your love and support and I am nowhere thanking you so much for everything" Amaya said
• Soon there was a round of applause in the audience
• After Vote of thanks to the chief guest event was ended everyone started coming out of hall
• soon Amaya reached her friends they congratulated her and hugged each other,
• Three of them talking Happily when they listened the voice of someone calling Amaya
• Amaya turned back and saw it was assistant of Charlie Oberoi Mr. Fraser
• Fraser reached Amaya and gave her a business card
• Amaya checked it and it was business card of Mr. Charlie, surprised by the card Amaya looked at Fraser
• "Mr. Charlie asked me to give it you, he stated if you need any help in the future, he will be there for you" Fraser said
• Amaya felt very happy and excited, and she said "please convey my thanks to Mr. Oberoi and I will always remember it as my honour, thank you" Amaya smiled
• Smiling back Fraser left,
• After Fraser left three friends also left for lunch in a restaurant which is Amaya's favourite.
