• They arrived at Ridgeview Hospital, where Erin was quickly diagnosed with acute appendicitis and the hospital immediately arranged for a surgery to be conducted. After the surgery was over, she was still in deep sleep as the anesthetic had not worn off. “Mr. Harrison, what Erin experienced was a regular appendix inflammation, so she should be able to have her stitches removed and be discharged one week after the surgery.”
• The Dean of Ridgeview Hospital, David Bennett, had performed the surgery for Erin himself.
• David could not bear the glum look on Arthur’s face. Arthur had the same look on his face ever since he sent her over to the hospital. David merely held the title as the Dean of the hospital because the power to make decisions fell into the hands of Caden. Both the Wynne and Harrison Families were amongst the Four Greatest Families of Wingston City and they had a relatively good relationship with one another. Their ties were further strengthened by the close relationship between the younger generations of the family—Arthur and Caden. David therefore paid extra care in treating the patient since Arthur was not just Caden’s close friend—he also held a significant role in the entire Wingston City.
