Chapter 204 Arthur’s Madness

  • After Arthur received Frank’s call, he sent the kidnapper’s phone number to Marvin and ordered him to locate the calls; the last call made by the number would allow them to trace the whereabouts of the kidnapper. On the other hand, Arthur rushed over to the Simmons Residence.
  • Robert wasn’t at the drama club that day, and he informed Arthur of Rowyn and Vincy’s whereabouts when Arthur visited their house. Both Rowyn and Vincy had brought Erin to the temple earlier that morning, so Robert was shocked to find out that Rowyn and Vincy might have been kidnapped along with Erin. He hastily attempted to call both their phones, but both of their lines were engaged. This was no surprise to Arthur, for he had called Erin’s phone right after he found out that she had been kidnapped—his call didn’t get through either. Arthur left the Simmons Residence minutes after he arrived, for Robert didn’t seem to be of much use to him then. Meanwhile, Leo, Charlie and Caden got the news of Erin’s kidnapping as well; they each employed their personal connections and powers to expand the search for her.
  • Arthur received a call from Marvin just minutes after he left the Simmons Residence. Marvin told him that the kidnapper’s call had been made from a rest stop on some highway and that he, Leo and a few others were already on the way to the location. Arthur didn’t say a word on the phone, for he was filled with too much anxiety, fear, and rage. He felt as if he was about to go mad; he could picture himself torturing and crushing all the kidnappers under his feet.
