Chapter 14

• Kicking a stone on the road with my palms linked behind my back I grunt low impatiently, I've been waiting a long time and Wales is not out yet.
• "Finally," letting out a loud sigh of relief I walk to him when he comes out from the door in the back yard.
• I came home from school and asked Wales to meet me in the backyard with the household register. His late arrival made me worry because I thought that someone saw him taking it.
