Of course it was not the immediate answers she wanted, and he’d had to stifle a few laughs as she had come close to growling at the list.
  • He leaned over the letter board and looked down at it. Life was so quick now; no inkwells and blotters, just tap a letter button on this board and it appeared on the screen above. Simply wondrous! Miranda had taken the time to answer his queries concerning the machine. Of course, his mind still felt foggy at the very notion that one could write, no, type, a letter to another, click a button, and send it vanishing off to the person it was addressed to. A marvellous creation, indeed!
