Chapter 1 Pain of loosing

• "Phelicity Adams, listen and listen good, there is no room for you in this house after you and your mother robbed everything off my daughter and I let me warn you, I won't give you a single reason to stay here and enjoy the peaceful life," Beatrice said with a hint of hate and regrets in her eyes.
• "You had everything since young how about me? I had nothing,
• You are schooled in the most famous schools how about me? I didn't know as the good sister that you are could you please allow me to enjoy these things?" Michelle asked.
• "Or do you want us to help you get the hell out of here?" Beatrice asked.
• "Well mother it seems we get work here we will have to help her get out of here," Michelle said.
• After sometime phelicity still couldn't understand what these two were talking about,
• She has been nothing but polite to these people what has she ever done?
• "Mother, sister what are you talking about? Have I done something wrong?"
• "Yes phelicity, you have done everything wrong,
• Why must it always be you? Why does dad dote on you more than me?
• How long has it been ever since your mother's death? 9 years, but your dad, my father never treated my mother as a woman,
• All he can do is hang your mother's pictures everywhere, tell me is it fair? " Michelle has been brainwashed by her mother completely.

• "But why now?" Phee's weak voice asked.
• "Because we are tired of feeding a dog in our house," Michelle said.
• "Your mother didn't tell you who your father is but I will tell you, your father maybe was a rapist, a thug, or anything that can't be said or to be proud of and now I want you out of this house, " Mrs. Beatrice said.
• "Okay I will pack my things" her voice was weak and trembling.
• Things have come to this point what can she do? She can only leave the house, at least to gain her freedom.
• But now one thing she is sure of, the man she has always called father and has always pretended to love her as a daughter was not her father.
• And she also made a decision not to look for her real father and focus on the things she has always longed for.
• She has been studying online at one of the best universities in imperial City and therefore she had to see what her university looks like, she is now a third-year student, and thanks to her stepmother, she dropped out of school,
• But could still sneak to the nearest internet cyber to do her studies online.
• She was well known in the cyber and she always have her seat well reserved for her, and her specific desktop.
• "Phee am an old woman and I can see you have dropped out of school I won't ask why, but if you are serious about your studies this desktop is all yours and this silent corner are also yours" old madam Lucy said.
• All these years she has achieved many things and with different identities, she has met potential masters all over the world but she was too scared to meet people.
• But now she has found reasons to be herself and never to hide in the shell.
• "Phelicity, I hope you are not taking anything from our family with you?" Beatrice asked.
• "Don't worry I won't and I hope you are not hiding anything that belongs to me" she asked.
• "What can we take from you? Phelicity stop wasting time though it's late at night we only wish for my father to come back home today and nothing else therefore excuse us" Michelle said.
• "Well thank you for telling my deepest secret and for helping me with a place to stay all this time, I mean no one can do that to anybody,
• And tell dad that I appreciate his love for me even if he pretended not to love me, tell him that I appreciate it, thanks for the food.
• As for education? I wanna say thank you cause you have helped me understand that I could have owed you, people, much, but since school is out of the picture I owe you, people,e nothing.
• With the help of the lawyers from the Adams, they will help me and sign this document that we owe each nothing and when we meet in the future we won't call each other sister, mother, or father and you too will not mention how you took care of me" phelicity said.
• And immediately the door was pushed open and three lawyers were standing right there.
• "Hello, miss phelicity you called?" One of the judges asked.
• "Yes, I want you to witness this today, since they are not my family and am just a grade seven dropout, I owe them nothing.
• I want you to witness them signing this confidential agreement that states I owe them nothing and in the future, we will be strangers, and if any of them call me intimately like their family member
• This person will have to pay a fine of one billion dollars" phelicity said as she read the paper loud and clear.
• "What do you mean Miss Phelicity by saying that you are a grade seven dropout? Aren't you studying with your sister at the same university?" One of the lawyers asked.
• "Exactly aren't you studying with your sister? And your father CEO Adams said that your university allowance is much higher than your sister Michelle" another lawyer said.
• "Hahaaa, look at me do I look like someone literate? My step-mother, my sister, and my father forced me out of school 9 years ago,
• And since have realized am not an Adam I want us to draw a line peacefully " she said.
• "We didn't know about this we are sorry "
• "In that case, your mother left you something, she knew a day like this would come, and when you called we decide to give it back to you
• This jade pendant she left it for you, and those are the words written on it" the lawyer said.
• The Adams signed the agreement of not wanting to do anything with her, phelicity and the documents was sent to her and the rest was taken to court.
• "At long last am free," she said thoughtfully.
• She walked out of the Adams residence step by step, she was leaving the compound,
• This is a place she has called home for 18 years, this is a place where she had the perfect picture of a family and this is the same place that her world crushed on.
• This is a place she lived like a slave and as a servant, all the love they showed her was fake, this is a fact that is hard to believe but it's the reality.
• She walked to the Internet cyber, she knew it was too late at night but she had to come here and pass her night and travel to the Imperial City tomorrow morning.
• The old lady has gone home, so she couldn't bother waking her up or troubling her.
• At the Adams residence***
• "Where is phelicity I haven't seen her around," Mr. Adams asked.
• "Dad, we threw her out as you wished," Michelle said.
• "And she won't be a problem to us anymore," Beatrice said.
• "Okay, I just hope she won't cause us a problem in the future"
