Chapter 34

• "He's waking up" I heard Devin's voice as the bright lights blinded my eyes for some moment. I blinked my eyes open and wondered where I was. My eye sight was finally clear and I saw Devin staring at me with pity all over his face . Some people in white coats were also beside me. After checking round the room I realized I was in the hospital.
• I tried to stand up but a sharp pain hit my head and I winced in agony before lying back on the bed.
• "You made me so scared" Devin brushed his hands through his hair then I suddenly remembered what happened to me.
