Chapter 41 Pervert

  • Immediately, Talia recalled the man from the hospital, so she couldn't help but feel nervous again. She quickened her pace and almost trotted back.
  • As soon as she entered the courtyard, she locked the door. She lived alone here now, and she was afraid.
  • She wanted to imagine when Cassius and Jasper were still around, but the empty yard kept reminding her that she was alone.
  • For the past few days, she had been preparing to leave, but she had yet to determine which city to settle down in because she did not want anything out of the ordinary to happen again.
  • After resting for a while after dinner, she took her clean clothes and went to the bathroom to take a shower. The injury on her head was no longer serious, so the wound was able to be in contact with water long ago.
  • While showering, she keenly heard an unusual movement amid the sound of water. There was an alley outside the wall of the bathroom. She had closed the window of the bathroom, and the sound came from outside the window.
