Chapter 59 Our Vulnerability

• "Are you taking your fertility control every day?" Claude asked as soon as we were done making love to my bed. He even gathered me in his arms as I snuggled closer with him.
• "Hmm." I nodded. "I never fail to forget and take it." I caressed his cheek while I was leaning against his chest. 
• "Good to know. You are about to engage in the war so I do not want you to conceive yet because it will take away the part of leading the brigade," he said softly as he kissed the top of my head.
