- I woke up to the sound of light knocks on the door.
- I sat up in bed, rubbing the sleep from my eyes as I tried to look at my surroundings. It proved to be difficult since my eyes were swollen and keeping them open for long made the hurt. But the knocking on the door continued, so I had to get up.
