Chapter 48
- Waking up with a dagger pointed at your throat is just as terrifying as one would think. When I felt the cold metal pressed against my neck, my eyes immediately opened to see the glint of the dagger in the moonlight.
- I froze, unsure of what to do.
- My eyes adjusted quickly and I was able to make out the person whose hand was holding the weapon.
