Chapter 3 Pepper spray

• Quinn heart began to pound like in no time it'd jump outta her chest. She clenched her jaw so hard that Renae could see.
• "Quinn.. are you okay?" Renae asked suspiciously
• "Yeah..what's that?" Adrian replied and one by one they heard their phone notifications sounds.
• Renae checked hers and Adrian did same, Renae gasped immediately.
• "Who the hell posted this?!" she exclaimed furiously wide eyed.
• "I.I..I have no idea" Quinn stammered
• "My Mom death is something I've been keeping quiet about and now someone random has just talked about it on social media, what do I do?" Quinn exclaimed and checked the post
• Little by little the likes, views and comments kept increasing
• She went to the comment section to see what's going on there
• "Yeah that's true..in all of her post and videos she doesn't talk of her mom, and barely talks of her dad. I really don't understand her and her family"
• Someone had commented..
• and the second comment;
• "Who knows? what if her mom is somewhere being shitty?!" she clenched her fist immediately
• "well instead of you guys to be blaming the innocent girl you should ask her dad cos I really know he should know something since it is about his wife" another person commented
• Her mind came down a little bit. At least someone was being reasonable
• "I really don't know what to do..I'd surely be asked! that's why I hate myself, where I come from.. if I was a normal girl my life wouldn't be people's interest!" she exclaimed slapping her forehead
• "Well yeah..you kept it secret, you have your own reasons but your dad should have said something about it" Adrian replied
• "oh please I don't even expect anything from him about her..he has another wife there, has Misha there..how is he supposed to care" she rolled her eyes
• "But damn he is really secretive.. even the people doesn't know Misha is his step daughter right?" Renae asked
• "You're just knowing that?" Adrian asked her
• "that man keeps secrets like there isn't gonna be tomorrow.. I can be scared of him sometimes" Quinn sighed
• "All I know is I lost my mom at the age of 3! and in no time he got a replacement.. it keeps freaking me out why! and that b!tch he married gave birth to baby b!tch Misha, you see I'm in a messed up family. No one knows he has a second wife, its been hidden for 17 years..its annoying" She sighed tiredly
• "I understand you..damn Mr Gareth can be...ugh I'd have to keep my mouth shut" Renae rolled her eyes
• "who cares..he's being pathetic!" Quinn spat out
• "But why is he hiding it?..if she is dead he could have just let them know than keeping it" Adrian replied
• "The thing is he doesn't know if she is dead or alive!" Quinn replied
• "WHAT?!" they gasped clearly shocked. "Yeah! I can't accept she is dead cos I never saw her dead body and I won't agree tho he keeps telling me she is dead! am I dumb?" she rolled her eyes
• "A security guy told me she was a victim of hit and run, my dad said she didn't wake up after sleeping, some told me she got involved in an accident.. what am I supposed to believe?!" Quinn sighed sadly
• "All I know is she isn't dead until I see her body.." she added
• "I agree with you..he probably knows what he doing. But why would a father be that way?" Adrian rolled his eyes and drove through the gate to the compound where he parked the car
• "And then that as*hole that posted that is just planning to make mg day go worse" She rolled her eyes
• "Yeah..you'd be going for a party and all this is happening don't they have conscience, damn I'm not gonna take permission to beat the idiot, mentally deranged human when I see him or her" Renae angrily said as she walked down the car
• "Same here" Adrian replied
• Deep down she began to feel her dad is hiding something from her but what could it be and why?
• She has no idea of but walked down the car with her bags
• "Hey Quinn don't let them kill your vibe, we are going to have fun tonight and besides it'd be a masked party who'd know if you're there or not?" Renae said
• "oh yeah that's true.." She replied as they walked into their house.
• Dustin ordered Kendall to drive back home"I see this is your way of entertainment, I should have just sat at home with my phone, TV or even laptop.. damn" He rolled his eyes
• "That was never what I expected" Kendall managed to say
• "yeah being stuck in traffic, having a Girl from nowhere stick tongues out at you and spitting gum on you..how entertaining" Dustin rolled his eyes
• "That was embarrassing" he added
• "You don't need to react this way..she didn't even see your face..so chillax" Kendall replied
• "oh that! I hope so" Dustin rolled his eyes as the car pulled to a halt
• "I didn't even get a chance to get something to eat..how annoying" he muttered beneath his breathe and walked down the car
• Quinn was in her room seated on her bed..she couldn't stop thinking of what had happened and was thinking of when she would meet up with her dad to talk about it. He needs to say something about it.
• She sighed and walked out of her room picking her car keys and headed down the stairs.
• Renae was in a conversation with Adrian talking about the same stuff
• "hey going somewhere?" He asked her
• "oh yeah..I need to see my dad and hear something" she replied
• "can't you shift the date..it'd soon be time for the party or do you plan to come from there?"Quinn flinched back by that question
• "Why would I? I'm sure his reply would piss me off so instead I'd join you guys" she replied
• "oh okay..we'll be waiting then. take care and give it to him"Renae gave her thumbs up
• Quinn smiled and turned to leave through the door as she got into her car and buckled up her seat belts and then ignite the engine as she drove away.
• "maybe you think you can hide it for long..it'd be known soon" She said lowly as she increased her pace.
• Misha sat on her dressing table taking a look on her face "am I not beautiful?" Misha smiled at herself in the mirror before her as she slowly caressed her own cheeks and gave a cute laugh out before she sat back.
• "I can't wait to wear these dress on"
• She couldn't stop smiling at the new dress she bought.
• Mr Gareth was on his way down the stairs to visit his company but as soon as he got to the living room he froze at who he saw standing and glaring at him.
• "Quinn?" he asked still not sure
• "Dad?" she sarcastically replied rolling her eyes and walked to him
• "what a surprise to see you home. You didn't tell me you were coming over" he replied as he picked his keys from the table
• "hope you'd be available for the party?" he smiled at her
• She rolled her eyes "dad just stop..you going somewhere? cos I need to see you"
• He raised his brows and chuckled hearing her sound sternly
• "What's it? need more allowance?" he asked
• "oh please stop it!"she yelled breaking down in tears
• He began to wonder what was going on. "did you lose something sweetie?"
• she tried her best to stop her tears from flowing down knowing tears were already welling up in her eyes.
• "Stop acting like you care" she said and walked to him
• "What do you mean?" he asked
• "You went away yourself to stay with your friend for over a week how am I being uncaring?" he added
• "Did you even bother to call to check on me?..that's what I'm here to talk about, do you have an idea of what I try to ignore everyday because of my identity as your daughter?" she asked sniffing back her tears
• "I still don't get it''
• "what do you don't get?? everyone is already beginning to talk about my mom.. aren't you tired already?" she asked and saw him sigh
• "is that why you are like this? that's people for you, they'd always poke nose so you leave them"
• "How long am I to leave them? its going to 18 years and you are keeping quiet about it..what really happened to her? don't you know?!" she asked clenching her jaws
• "Are you gonna raise your hands on me then?" he asked her and heard her scoff
• "if I could..I'm beginning to think bad about you" she spat out stepping back
• "Look here Quinn I have somewhere to go now..I wouldn't like of you delay me okay? we'll talk better some other time!" he replied as he tapped her shoulders and walked away leaving her dumbfounded.
• After he had left Misha walked down the hallway to the stairs and stood in akimbo seeing Quinn in the living room
• "And what brings you here?" she asks in a demanding voice
• "I hate that you exist" Quinn rolled her eyes not wanting to stand a minute with Misha she left immediately.
• "You had better leave"
• Evening came by so fast.
• She was back in Renae house and explained all that happened. "you should see him again" Adrian said
• "excuse me?! what type of father would pick meeting over his own daughter" Renae scoffed
• "just let that go..let's get dressed. you will definitely meet people to keep you company" Renae assured her.
• She agreed with her and then went to her room to prepare for the party. She's a makeup artist and was able to do her own makeover herself.
• Not just that but an influencer that's making her identity more entertaining, everything that happens her fans get to know about it and she is sure this has also gotten to them but wasn't in the mood to see it.
• She took her dress out and wore them and then sat down to do her makeup.
• In less than 10 minutes she was done with it and untied her hair styling it the way she wanted it, wavy around her shoulder and down her shoulder since she has a very long hair.
• She wore her hair accessories and jewelries then walked out of her room after wearing her stilettos.
• She met Adrian dressed up looking hot as always, too bad he is a gay.. he'd have girls over him.
• Renae walked down also dressed up looking beautiful too.
• "wow! hotties! now let's go rock the party" she exclaimed as they walked out.
• At Goozy Sparks hotel
• Different cars kept driving in, and different valets kept parking them. Dustin had walked down the car looking charming as always and walked to the entrance. The bouncers could recognize him and welcomed him in. He went in and was given a mask by a lady.
• Misha on the other hand had just arrived at the event.. the bouncers knew she fully was
• "Welcome Miss" they greeted
• She ignored and went in to get her mask on.
• Adrian had drove in and pulled the car to a halt. "how do we do it?" he asked no one in particular
• Doubting they'd allow him in. "You're my friends too why won't they" Quinn replied and walked down the car with them all.
• The bouncers recognized her alone and then she rolled her eyes.."what's the problem honey? looking for something?" Renae seductively asked them.
• They had a side smile and shook their head."I'm glad you don't" she caressed his cheeks and winked at him
• "you are welcome in pretty" he said to her
• "c'mon babe" Quinn said to Adrian as she walked in with him holding hands like couples while Renae made her way in after showing them her seductive look.
• They had their mask on and went in more properly
• "that was funny..." she laughed out.
• They were kinda late since the party had already started. "c'mon have fun" Adrian said to her
• She agreed with him then walked to the bar stand to get a drink first. After minutes of drinking she felt the urge to use the restroom.
• "I'm coming back" she said to Adrian and left immediately with her bag..she trusts no one here except her friends
• She went to urinate and then walked out to wash her hands.
• "Nice gown you have there" a masculine voice said behind her.
• She froze at first and then slowly opened her bag
• "you better scoot" she replied
• "Oh please..why would I? I came here for fun and to__" he trailed off
• "its best you hold it there and not come any more closer to me..I've got pepper spray in my hands now so get ready to cry your eyes out!!" she said immediately pointing it at Dustin.
• "what the hell spray?" he laughed
• "oh really? well sorry to your ass" she replied and pressed the spray
• "Ahhhhhh!!"
