Chapter 2 My gum wanted to be busy

• Renae jerked up at Quinn's loud voice. She wondered what was going on downstairs this late hour. Or could it be the horror movie she is watching?!.
• Her screams didn't end that got her worried as she ran out of her room down the stairs to see her standing by the door with her hands by the side of her head screaming.
• "What the hell girl..its very late and you'd be disturbing the neighborhood don't you know that?!" Renae jaw dropped as she slapped her forehead rolling her eyes then she remembered the news they had watched earlier
• "goodness girl! the reporter said DON'T GO OUT LATELY! STAY INDOORS!! you're gonna kill us!!!" she screamed covering her mouth in shock.
• But then she know who she is "who cares..even before he'd get you I'd get him, step away..I'll handle him, I'm a black belt taekwondo fighter and I won't let no one mess with my family!!" she said as she packed her hair walking down the stairs
• "you can call me kickass heroine" she smiled and was about to run to the door but heard Quinn scream again
• "ADRIAN!!!!"
• She froze her steps immediately with a raised brow.
• "Oh my goodness Adrian you're here..like seriously do you have to come this late hour?!" she added as she jumped on him to hug him
• Adrian is one of her best friend here in Texas. She met him through Renae. Renae usually spent most of her time in Rome especially after high school. Her parents are just like her, fierce and doesn't take shit so she spends time there with them sometimes.
• And then she met Renae here in Huston during their college year and at the same time met Adrian.
• "its good to see you again"she said
• "Adrian?" Renae asked in shock
• "Its kinda chilling out here at least can I come in?"he rolled his eyes with a side smile
• "Oh yeah please do" Quinn replied as she pulled him in and shut the door locking it.
• He walked to the couch and slumped on it tiredly.."damn I'm tired"
• "You obviously look so" She replied
• "And before we move to Adrian.. why did you scream that way?! you got me scared at first and then got me ready to kick some ass!" Renae sighed as she sat beside Adrian
• Quinn chuckled and gave a side smile. "oh geez!.." Renae rolled her eyes with a sigh
• "So back to you..what brought you back to Huston? I thought you were having good time in New York?" Renae asked surprised to see him
• "yeah I kinda was...but nah.. its mess already" he said lowly
• Quinn wondered what had happen to him to see his facial expressions this way.
• "what about Jake?"
• Jake is Adrian boyfriend, they've been dating since their final year at college.
• He had a frown on his face immediately "please don't mention his name here.. hearing his name just makes me more mad!"he added
• "oh my goodness did something happen between you both?" Renae gasped covering her mouth with her palms
• "hell lot of things did..we wanted to have good times in New York but we had 60% bad times!" he exclaimed slapping his forehead
• "he thought I was unfaithful to him because he saw me with some female friends and then I explained to him but then he refused to accept it. Not so long I caught him in the restroom with a lady!! and this is someone I promised to have nothing to do with anyone else but him?! who's being unfaithful?!" he exclaimed and fell back to the chair dragging himself to the ground
• "oh c'mon you don't have to be this way..do you mind if I fly to NY to treat his ass..I'd give him my fist and send him to his Mommy crying.. how about that?!" Renae replied
• "oh c'mon you don't have to be brutal...I always knew that JAKE was a JERK!!" Quinn slapped her forehead
• "its okay..you'll find someone better than him..I assure you that" she added tapping his shoulders
• "and if you don't lemme know, I'd hook you up with good babes!!" Renae smiled assuring him
• "Whatever you can trust her with that..let's get you showered"
• Quinn had left with her friends and led Adrian to His room.
• She was way too tired and went to bed while Renae gave Adrian food to eat.
• Next few hours
• It was another morning. Misha had furiously walked down the stairs to get her car keys. She would be leaving for shopping to get her new designers.
• Her keys were in her hand and her purse while she walked out of the house through the gate heading to the garage.
• Luckily enough for her she drives a black Ferrari, it was given to her by her dad on her 20th birthday.. it makes even more proud.
• In no time she drove to the mall and may a designer then explained all she needs.
• "Two hot dress that could take people breathless" she said
• "wow..I have the right one for you" the lady said
• "Girls..bring it out" She ordered and then sent Misha in to pick her choice
• She loved the first two dresses immediately.
• "I like this mermaid gown, the color is beautiful and the designs.. suits someone like me for sure and the 1-shoulder gown too. I love it as its plain with fashion stones on it..really good, you're the best I think I'd come here more often" she said
• "I'm glad you love it.."
• "anyways, this mermaid gown cost $200.45 and the other cost.. not too much but just $300"
• "oh you kidding me..cheaper than I expected"
• "I'll pay for them" Misha gave a smile
• Quinn had just walked into one of the malls close to Renae house with Adrian to get some new clothes.
• Renae had said she should take something new than wear old clothes and Adrian would also be going with them to the party so he came to shop too.
• In no time she found am eye-catching dress, the one she loved and took it out
• "how's this on me?" she asked them
• A short red fit and flare gown with silver designs on it.
• "wow it'd suit you well..you have flat tummy and nice boobs, your shape would go well with it" Renae said
• "Yeah..and your skin would accept it..with your beauty, you love it right?" Adrian replied
• "why not..off course I do"
• She had found her dress, though Renae hates wearing gowns too but she has to in this party so she picked something like what Quinn took but a different color, a black one
• "and I'd have a Gothic makeup on..check!" she winked
• "is this suit okay? I hate wearing suits" Adrian rolled his eyes
• A gold and white suit he had chose. "very well you're good to go" They gave him thumbs up in unison.
• He played a gentleman and paid for all the dresses.."so what's next?'' Quinn asked as they walked out of the mall to their car
• "Home..right?" Renae asked
• "Hmm, exactly!" Adrian replied as he got into the driver seat and the girls sat at the back seat.
• Dustin sat by the bar stand in his mansion drinking from his glass a very chilled whiskey with ice cubes in it.
• "Sir..are you okay? you've been looking down recently" Kendall said to him beside him
• He released a sigh.."damn life can be boring..Isn't it?" Dustin replied
• "oh..is that it? you should have told me since and I'd take you out for a ride" he replied
• Dustin turned to him and scoffed
• "A ride? what's that gonna do?" he asked taking another sip
• "Will you can't tell..c'mon let's go" he said gesturing him to come with him
• Dustin stared at him for sometime then stood up to leave with him.
• They walked out through the door and went to the car garage immediately
• Kendall sat in the driver seat while Dustin sat by the passenger seat.
• "Trust me..you'd have good time" he said to him as he drove away.
• But the next few minutes wasn't what was expected.
• They had been stuck in traffic jam.. Kendall gave him a weak smile.."I guess this is the fun you meant" Dustin nods his head looking out the window
• "not really sir..you see about being bored, I think you should think of getting yourself in a relationship" Kendall suggested
• Dustin turned to him raising his brow.."relationship.... yeah I am in one" he replied
• "Sir? since when?" Kendall replied clearly shocked
• "since the age of 17, a business, money and lifestyle relationship!" he snapped his fingers
• "Sir?!!! no I meant a ROMANTIC ONE!" Kendall slapped his forehead as Dustin rolled his eyes
• "The one you'd get to fall in love with a Girl that loves you too tho"

• "how would you see a genuine one? I don't think of that" Dustin shook his head clicking his tongues
• "Oh you think..I can help you get some"
• "oh please that's the worst idea ever..no, I'm okay this way" Dustin smiled
• He kinda thinks he is okay being single since 17, he believes girls are all the same. All after your pocket.
• He is very popular that just taking a selfie with him and uploading it on your Instagram page you could hit over 100k followers in that hour.
• After his first, second and last girlfriends in high school deceived him, he decided to end it there.
• He dated 3 girls in 3 weeks, broke up with each that week so that's a full stop.
• "okay..as you say" Kendall sighed and then a loud horn was heard from behind them.
• He wore his sun glasses on and looked at the rear mirror looking at the car behind them.
• Turned out to be the car where Quinn was in.
• Adrian kept horning!!. "And what is your problem. the traffic light says stop!!" Kendall exclaimed
• Adrian then took over a car and was at the right side of the lane.
• Quinn turned to them and gestured them to take their window down. Dustin wondered what she wanted to say and took his window down just for her stick her tongues out at him.
• His eyes went wide immediately and then she stuck her head out of the window spitting the gum in her mouth out and watch it fly into his car.
• "ugh!! what the fvck!!" he exclaimed furiously.
• She rushed back into the car and raised her brows at him
• "the traffic light is obviously green how couldn't you notice that" she laughed and took her window back up as Adrian laughed driving away.
• Just then she got a notification from her phone and opened it.
• Someone just posted something about her?
• No it wasn't about her but her Mom!!!
• "Who wants to know why Gareth Quinn doesn't speak of her Mom?!"
• "No!" she gasped aloud getting the attention of Adrian and Renae.
