Chapter 11 You had a what!!

• Moments later Quinn got discharged and was taken home but even in the car she asked the same question again.
• "I asked about my mom!" she frowned and Adrian sighed on the wheels.
• "let's head home first..this is not something we should discuss inn the car" he replied and Renae nods he head trying to convince Quinn
• "Ohhh okay" she replied and then silence took over the atmosphere till they got home.
• After the long drive home, Quinn lazily dragged her body to the living room and fell to couch releasing a heavy sigh. "I'm really tired"
• "you can have a nap" Renae suggested trying to avoid answering her questions and to their surprise she agreed to it.
• "I've been sleeping for days...and I should have a nap again? I'm just tired I'll go to my room to relax" she said
• "You remember your room?" Adrian raised his brows
• "i remember everything here" she shrugged and took herself up to her room.
• Adrian stood where he was and ran his eyes all over her body, yep! there was no single scar on her, even the little bruises she had by her temple had cleared up a little.
• She looks like someone that never had a car accident!!
• The moment Quinn got to her room she walked to her bed jumping onto it and touched her forehead.
• "gosh..." she whispered and turned her face to the other side of the bed to see a picture of herself with Dean in a frame on the table.
• "who's this guy?" she raised her brow and stared at the picture but after looking at it for seconds she couldn't get a hint.
• "ugh! whatever.. why am I forgetting things?!" she asked herself and scratched her head roughly then shut her eyes.
• Her mind went back to when she was in the hospital, she tried to remember how she got there and the only thing she could recall was...
• "Nightlight" she gasped as her eyes went open.
• "What was I doing in nightlight?" she asked herself then drifted off to sleep.
• AT PEARLINE INDUSTRY
• Dustin got down his car and buttoned up his suit, the securities and staffs around saw him and bowed Their heads in greetings.
• The funny thing is this time he didn't keep his word, he gave himself almost one week holiday that is to say he is just resuming work after arriving at Los Angeles.
• "Here we are...seems like the company has been doing well" Kendall said beside him
• "its supposed to be" Dustin smiled and walked into the company majestically
• Immediately the working staffs and non working staffs saw him they screamed happily.
• "welcome back Mr Dustin!!"
• He gave a smile and waved at them, everyone bowed in greetings while he stood where he was with a happy smile on.
• "Thank you all!!" he replied and made His way to the elevator.
• The ladies around turned to themselves. "am I the only one noticing it but he is more hot than the way he left" a female staff giggled.
• Kendall pushed the button to the 6th floor in the elevator with Dustin.
• "So today will be your busy day.. is there anything you'd want me to do for you?" Kendall asked him
• "I'll get to office first and see the past overall operations" he said and few minutes later the elevator made a 'ding' sound.
• Kendall stepped out after Dustin did, "okay..if there's any other thing you need I'm available at your service" he said to him then bowed slightly before he left.
• Dustin nods his head and walked to his office, he stood at the door and a smile plastered on his face.
• His employees had the office decorated and cleaned up, even fixed some things in for him.
• "that was never there" he raised his brow at a small flower vase above the book shelf then walked in closing the door behind him.
• "okay let's get busy!!" he sang and went to his table running his fingers on it.
• "Hmm, clean" he clicked his tongue then took his seat.
• Meanwhile, at home...
• Quinn didn't sleep for long, an hour sleep!.
• She got off her bed and strolled into the bathroom. "damn, my body aches me..I really need to bath! I stink!" she squeezed her face and took off her clothes throwing it into the laundry basket and stepped into the tub.
• She turned on the faucet leaving it open till the water got to her chest level.
• She felt empty inside and where is that emptiness coming from..?
• is there someone she forgot or someone she has to deal with?
• "what really happened?" she thought and shut her eyes closed.
• She sent her mind back to remember even if its a little,
• Little by little she remembered leaving a dark place she couldn't figure out in tears and remembered bumping into a guy, she couldn't recall his face but she knew she left with him.
• Her eyes went opened as she looked side ways then slapped her forehead but then the next thing that flashed to her memory was her car smashing against the tree.
• "accident!" she gasped.
• Renae kept walking round the room in confusion" see you need to relax!" Adrian said walking out of the kitchen with a bottle of cold yoghurt in His hands.
• "what if she asks again?"
• "from my point of view..I don't think she is badly hurt, you know the doctor said it could be temporary.. she might remember few things and share with us!" he shrugged
• "and I'm really confused.. Dean hasn't even called us..didn't you tell him about her?" Renae asked him
• "I did! the idiot said I should let him be..that's making me wonder what happened between them" Adrian rolled his eyes and then they saw Quinn walk down the stairs.
• "hey..you're up" he said to her. She nods her head and walked to them sitting on the couch.
• "I need an explanation.. I think I'm forgetting things" she said to them.
• Adrian clicked his tongue then passed the bottle of yoghurt to her.
• "yep! we will explain" she said sitting next to her
• "Quinn.. you had an accident that led to partial amnesia" Renae explained lowly
• Quinn eyes went wide.."I knew it!!' she exclaimed slapping her head.
• Adrian flinched back"you did?"
• "ugh.. I knew something happened" Quinn said lowly
• "so where's my car!!!" she gasped grabbing her head
• "should that be your problem? I'll get you another soon but right now..we need you to try remember some things.. if you can't its okay" he said to her
• "Yeah.. especially about what happened between you and Dean" Renae replied
• "you mean the guy picture I saw beside my bed?" she asked
• "oh that yes!" Adrian replied
• "he is your boyfriend.. remember?" Renae asked and then Quinn pouts her lips
• "I knew it.. but I don't remember him"
• "Quinn he hasn't called us since you had the accident, and I'm gonna kill him if I find out he is part of the reason you had the accident, you left that night to Starbucks club and bar to see him..remember that" Renae said.
• Quinn paused, she remembered the place she ran out of now..Starbucks bar.
• "I remember that place but I don't think I spent my time there.." she said remembering how she left the bar sadly, with pain in her heart.
• "so where did you go after that place, cos I couldn't reach your line" Adrian said and then she smiled
• "Nightlight.. I remember that, a guy took me there with him" she smiled
• "Nightlight hotel!!!!" Renae exclaimed in unison with Adrian
• "yes..and yeah the guy is really hot, we talked for sometime in the bar, shared wines and alcohol together then we went to the room" she explained with smile
• Renae jaw dropped.."then after that?" she asked more of a whisper
• Quinn paused as she thought of it..she remembered kissing him on the couch,remembered him carrying her to the bed and then she gasped with her eyes wide.
• "I think I slept with him!!" she gasped wide eyed
• "you what!!!" Adrian exclaimed
• "You had a one night stand Quinn with a total stranger!!!!?' Renae grabbed her head with both hands exclaiming.
