• I kept to myself the entire evening that day.
• I stayed in my room and didn’t get out of it, until dinner time.
• I was worried sick about what was going down tomorrow.
• And no matter how many promises Alex makes to me, and how confident he sounds about his plan, it’s still not enough to calm me down or reassure me.
• I was sure I will remain like this until it’s all over.
