Chapter 8 In The Washroom

• I turned around to study my surroundings. Luckily I was in the bathroom. I turned the taps on and began sobbing out loudly. 'I can't believe I was so naive'. I looked myself in the mirror and got angry all over again. Joe was still banging at the door. I wasn't going to let her go just like that, I had to know why she did it. I opened the door and went outside. Walking past Joe, I headed straight for the table but she wasn't there. I looked for her at the party but she wasn't there. Of course.. she would have left. She just made a bad impression. I went to the bathroom and began sobbing again. "What did I do wrong to her?". "She might be jealous, have you thought of that??" I glanced around to trace the deep voice. It sounded like the jerk. The last person I needed right now. I finally spotted him at the window. The bathroom was dimly lit so it was hard to see and the fact my eyes were swollen and puffy made it more difficult. "Of course not, you wouldn't have, cause you have no idea". He answered. I walked towards him and I could finally see him clearly. He offered me his handkerchief to wipe my face. Waow he looked delicious. I quickly collected myself and asked "what do you mean by that?? What don't I have any idea off??" He laughed. "Easy with the questions" he said. "Before I tell you, what are we going to do about that slap" he asked. "I should've known you won't tell me... You're so despicable" I was about to leave when he stopped me. "I'm not that bad of a person, and to prove it, I'll tell you... You're one of the top prettiest girl in this university, and every guy wants to have you. If you were sociable enough, you would have known." He said. "That seems like the dumbest reason ever" I furrowed my brows and was about to walk away.
• "I don't know what happened and I'm not gonna ask, but that seems like the most reasonable answer to your question right now "he said. "I know you don't believe me but eventually you will cause she'll come to you" he continued. "You'll know what happened soon enough cause it'll be all over the school news tomorrow" I said. "If you want, we could get out of here" he requested and I simply nodded my head "I couldn't agree more".
