Chapter 41 Backfired

• I was furious when I saw Christian walk in with Anna, my blood boiled and I could feel my face turn red from anger. I wanted to confront him but Joe held me back. “Don’t. It’s just gonna start another scene.”
• I couldn’t help but glare daggers at them. I wasn’t sure if Anna knew I was here or if she was just being a bitch again. She was being all clingy, fragile and mushy. And I wanted so bad to wipe the look she was giving Christian of her face. “If you’d like, we can go elsewhere” Joe suggested and without a second thought, I agreed to it.
