Chapter 177 She was gone

  • An explosion of shock rippled through the air as Tina whirled around, her face slack with disbelief. Neil’s head shot upward, his face wet with angry tears, but he was still trapped in the floor. Tina’s eyes had gone as wide as whole saucers, “What?! H-how… th-that's impossible!” Her eyes looked back at the pool as if she needed some answers from it.
  • “I have been pretending to drown ever since I was a kid.” I said darkly, walking closer, my finger curled on the trigger. “I can hold my breath for a fucking long time, bitch. I’m sure you did not expect me to outsmart you this bad, Pandora Tina Perez.”
  • “Don’t call me that!” She shrieked, something like fear entering her crazed eyes. “You are supposed to be dead! You should stay dead, you whore!” It was quick, but I saw her eyes briefly dart towards the heap of her back clothes. Immediately, I knew that she had more weapons there, and she would try to distract me to get to her weapons. A sardonic grin curled my lips. Over my dead body will she escape me today.
