Chapter 18 I Will Kill You

• As l sat in the class the next morning, I found myself searching for John. This was the only class we had together and I was trembling in fear knowing that he could come in at any moment.
• " Girl!", Alecia's high-pitched voice scared the hell out of me as she sat down. "Where have you been?! And why are your eyes all puffy?", She asked.
• I looked at Alecia only for a moment before my eyes started seeking John out once more. And then I saw him. He entered from the back, seeking me out immediately. Our eyes locked but the expression on his face was a cold one l had recognized from when we first met. He sat a few rows back and intently watched me. I found that I couldn't pull my gaze from his but Alecia snapped her fingers in front of my face, I turned forward.
