• HENDRICK BLACK'S POV:-
• I was sitting on the only bed that was in the jail cell they kept me in. It was the first day of the case. I already knew that Jo and his gang had already testified that I was the one who had paid them to kidnap Cassandra. And I raped Cassandra as well. It was true. I had paid Jo millions to kidnap her. And I had raped her. I was the cold hearted man everyone known as the monster. Monster, that was what she used to call me. Only if she would understand how I felt about her. But who could have told her. She loved that son of a bitch Hunt.
• I saw my parents coming towards the cell. I stood up and waited for them. I knew why they were visiting me. They were worried if something happened to me, they did not have anyone else to take care of the business they cared about most. At least my father was here for that specific reason. As per my brother, he never wanted to be part of that business. He made his own life in London. For him, it was a prison. He thought everything bad in our lives was somehow connected to that business.
