Chapter 24

CASSIE'S POV:-
After our emergency wedding, Chris grabbed my hand and locked my apartment. He took me to the parking lot, we both hopped into his car and he drove off. We didn't talk at all. We were just stealing glances over each other. I couldn't wait to go back to my home. I was both nervous and excited at the same time. I was glad though, I took that decision immediately as I learned about his disease. I knew I could be the only person who could convince him to get it operated soon.
He parked the car into the garage and hopped out of the car. He came to my side and scooped me up in his arms. He carried me bridal style to our bedroom. He gently laid me down on the bed then locked the bedroom door. He stripped off his shirt and my heart started drumming erratically inside my rib cage. He kicked his shoes off then came to me.
