- Before I pull open the door, I check on Liam. He is putting on a robe, annoyance present on his face. I grin at him before finally opening the door. “Hey, Lukas,” I greet.
- “Breakfast is ready, Cassie.”
- I sense Liam behind me. He drapes his arms around me and asks, “Why are you calling her Cassie? She is your teacher.”
