Chapter 44 NO ESCAPE

• Desmond had been standing at the junction for the past 45minutes now but still no sign of Gisella anywhere. He gazed worriedly at the roads leading to the junction he stood, expectantly, depressed.
• " What's keeping her? Is every alright?" He mumbled with a furrowed brow and as of on an impulse, he stuttered. " Let me call and find out what's happening?" He drew out his phone and dialed her line but it couldn't get through. He sighed with his fixed gaze, nervously on the screen as he paced around.
