Chapter 12 Let Me Go

• I opened my eyes. The first thing I saw was dark. My eyes adjusted to the surroundings. After fully awakening, I realized I was in a narrow iron cage. I was shocked. I looked around in confusion.
• Around me were many women curled up in their respective iron cages. Inside where I was were also two women whose clothes were in tatters. Their appearance was disheveled and dusty. They looked terrified.
