Chapter 20

• I get up, recovering from the shock of almost being marked. Logan stares at me and I can read the disappointment in his eyes. I am just not ready for this. I don't know when I will ever be ready.
• I turn and run away. He follows after me. I want to get the hell out of here. I head toward Logan's residence. He follows after me, giving me more space than I deserve. I know I have hurt him but he has got to understand me.
