Chapter 12

• Sagar's POV
• Flashback
• We came out of the school and saw an older guy talking to Damini and Anshu. She looked very comfortable with him. He was saying something and they both were smiling at him.
• He said something to her and she took out the chocolate out of her bag and gave it to him. Why was she giving him chocolate?? I wanted to know what was going on, so I went near them.
• " What?? No arguments, no fights... Are you Damini or someone else? Are you not well?? " He touched her forehead and then her cheeks with the back of his hand. I wanted to break that hand.
• " I am absolutely fine. "
• You don't have a fever. Did you get an electric shock?? You are not annoying me. Are you upset? Did anything happened today ? " he held her hand and looked concerned. She shook her head and smiled.
• " Are you sure?? You know you can tell me if you are in any problem? " He asked and she smiled at him. Who was he??
• Why was he talking to her like that??? He was holding her hand and she was smiling. Why? Oh god !! You can't do that to me.
• He released her hand and opened the wrapper of the chocolate and divided it into three parts and offered them. Both of them took one each. I wanted to take that chocolate and throw it. I was getting upset, so I started walking in their direction but my friends pull me in another direction.
• Just then I saw, Yash greeting that guy. They started talking Yash was also smiling.
• That guy said something to Yash and before he could say something, Damini said something and smiled. I swear that Yash looked embarrassed.
• He left after that very soon the girls smiled again at that new guy. Then Anshu sat on his bike and they both went away. She also started her kinetic and looked at me. I was annoyed as hell.
• I had decided to give my exams as Sahil he would write the exam as me. The very next day... We had a maths exam. It is one of my most favourite ones. I decided not to bother her today.
• The exam started and we were doing our paper when I saw that she was having a problem like she was stuck on some question... She tried but could not solve it. So she circled it and started doing the next question. Then she got stuck at another one and circled that as well.
• I tapped on her question paper where I had written the step where she did the mistake. She looked surprised but then I again scribbled on her paper and wrote the step of another question where she made mistake by replacing one digit by another.
• She smiled and thanked me and I smiled back and kept doing my paper.
• Once the answer sheets were collected, the teacher left the classroom.
• She turned to me and said thanked me again.
• " Anything for you... " I said with a smile. She also smiled. But everything got ruined when I told her that I was Sagar. I told her that because she thought that I was Sahil and she looked stunned and I was upset with the fact that she smiled at Sahil, Yash and that guy but was not comfortable around me. Who was that guy...
• Why did Anshu go away with him? Was he Anshu's brother? But who was he to Damini?? I wanted to ask Yash but I knew he was irritated with me as I laughed that day when Damini called him as bhaiya.
• In all the other exams, I did not bother her. But I didn't like her sitting with any other guy even if it was my twin. I knew that Damini looked at me a few times but she did not say anything. I did not bother her for the exams. But l loved the feeling of her sitting with me.
• Our drama teacher called all of the students who were participating in the play. I was very excited as Damini was playing the role of the female protagonist against me.
• Sir asked us if we had learnt our script and when most of us nodded, he asked us to do the rehearsals.
• I knew that she had learnt the lines but she was very nervous as she could not say those romantic lines to me. While I was just enjoying myself.
• Her face turned red every time she stood in front of me to say them. She was avoiding looking at me while sir was telling her to look at me while saying those lines. I was having the fun of my life.
• Next day she went to meet sir and said that she didn't want to participate in the play... As she had just joined the school and she already had to catch up with the pending work.
• I didn't want her to quit... So I said to sir that she looks perfect for the role. And she should give it a try. She was glaring at me as if she wanted to shoot me with her eyes.
• " Damini... You can't do that now. You seemed to be perfect for the role and you are very good at it. You are speaking the line so well, it is just that you get nervous when you speak your lines to him. So you just need to work on that... Listen it is already high time that we start practising very hard, and now I can't find another girl at such short notice. I can't allow you to back out now... So you better pull up your socks and start practising with Sagar. " Sir said to her and she kept trying to persuade him but he refused to let her go.
• Sir made us practice for at least one more hour. He told her to be comfortable with me. It was the most interesting time of my life.
• Finally, after two days, she got over her inhibition and acted well. I was happy that she was saying such romantic lines to me. She was blushing a bit and avoiding looking at me, while I was grinning like a fool.
• The day of the play came and we all did a splendid performance. Our play won the prize. And Damini and I were selected as best actors. She looked so pretty saying all those romantic lines and songs with a delicate blush on her cheeks. I wish she was saying them in reality. But in reality, she was avoiding me.
• I decided to show my feelings to her as She was avoiding me and I wanted her to know that I liked her.
• Next day, I sat down on the sill of the window and started singing a song from the movie... 1942 a love story...

• She just looked at me once and then behaved as if she did not hear me...
• I was adamant to make her acknowledge my feelings for her. But she was behaving like I did not exist... She stopped reacting on anything I did... And I was going crazy about her.
• Then that day when we all were having a special assembly as it was 14 Nov. The children's day celebration was to be done. We all were seated in the playground when our principal said that our chief guest would be here any minute now as she was just invited at the last moment as her husband could not make it due to some emergency.
• Others were getting a bit irritated but I was chilled out as I was sitting just behind my girl... I made arrangements for that sitting arrangements. As we were seated height wise so she was the last one in girls line.. and I made sure to sit just behind her in boy's line.
