Chapter 24 Day 2 of Training

• The next day, Michael, Joyce and Florence woke up late in the morning. This was due to the fact that they didn't sleep early last night. Because of Obed's disappearance and death, Florence and Joyce had to weep all night. Soon, Florence, Joyce and Michael begun to talk about Obed and how is was and how they wished he was to be with them. He was like a brother to me, said Michael. A friend to me, said Joyce. I really loved him a lot especially his smiles, said Florence.
• As they were talking, Miss Pearl came to pass by Michael's group tent. She entered into their tent and sat in-between Joyce and Florence. I know it's hard for you three to concentrate because of the disappearance of your friend but you have to understand that life is natural and not artificial. Everybody dies for a reason and Obed's died for who, Miss Pearl asked. Florence, Joyce replied. You must be thankful that a level one student saved you from the alien. When Miss Pearl said this, Florence calmed down and asked Miss Pearl whether today there would be any training. Miss Pearl nodded her head in a yes response and told Obed's crew to put on their training dress. Then she left.
• Michael dressed up first before Joyce and Florence could get dressed. After Michael had finished dressing, he then immediately left the tent and waited for the two girls outside the tent. Soon enough, they both finished putting on their training dresses and headed back to the training grounds.
