Chapter 5 I'll Marry You

• Alexus Point of View :
• "What's up bro!" 
• "What a miracle! What's bring you here?"
• "What's with your looks?"
• My friends asked one question after another. As usual, whenever I have a problem I run here.
• "Everything's ended," I said out of frustration. 
• My very good friends started laughing of me. 
• "Why?"
• Among the three of them, Calvin and Dylan are the ones who annoys me more even though I have a fvckin' big problem! 
• "That's what I told you Alexus, to challenge you." Felix said seriously.
• "She hates me now. She said, I'm not going to show her anymore. We're done,"
• "I pity you Alexus," 
• "What a pity on you,"
• "You know? You really helped me a lot." I said full of sarcasm to the two of them. I even get a bottle of liquor and acted like I'm going to throw it to them. 
• "Chill bro, you're so serious..."
• "The bottle you're holding is mine, you can't break it here at my bar," Dylan quickly took the bottle I was holding and took it away from me.
• "What did you do?" asked Felix.
• "She said she would agree to what I asked for if I married her." I explained. 
• The three of them were stunned by what I said. They kept listening to me as if they were watching and listening to an exciting scene in a show.
• "Why would I do that, right? I have a girlfriend, and I love Nicole."
• "Does she loves you too?" Calvin suddenly replied. I stunned because of what he'd said. 
• "Calvin, will you shut up or I'll throw you away?" Dylan scolded him. I thought about Calvin's strain. Does Nicole really love me? Yes, of course she loves me. Will it take us to three years if not?
• "Why, what kind of woman is Sofia?"
• "Yes, if you describe her, she is very strange. Introduce her to us. Can't wait to meet her," Calvin said. 
• "You really are Calvin, what are you talking about?" Felix kicked him.
• "Why are you asking me? I don't care what kind of person she is. As far as I know, she is very hardworking even though she is not accepted in the job she is applying for...she is still looking for a job every day. She loves her mom so much, she is also the woman who is very advanced in thinking, think—"
• "Maybe you already fell for her, then?" I stared at Dylan because what he was saying was not good anymore and he was really answering without me asking his opinion.
• "At first, she accused me of being a killer, a member of a syndicate, and so on,"
• "Hahahaha I already like her,"
• "Can't wait to meet her."
• "Will you guys please stop? Don't hope anymore, we won't gonna meet again, she doesn't want to see me anymore." 
• I could not understand myself but I was sad to think we would never meet again. Of course she was always annoyed with me during the almost two weeks I was teasing her. 
• But even if she treats me like that, I'm still happy because I know so much about her.
• I found out that she has never had a boyfriend in all her life. I understand her reason why she does not want to accept my offer even though the price is huge because she is a woman, and as a woman it is not easy for her to do what I am asking her to do.
• But, I am a desperate person. What can I do?
• "Maybe, I will find another woman, the one who is willing and doesn't have anything else to ask—"
• I did not continue what I am going to say because Felix interrupted me. 
• "You will not do that Alexus, I chose that woman so you will only choose her. You are not the type of person who immediately gives up. I know you will make her agreed to you." 
• "In what way?" I asked him.
• "Marry her,"
• I seem deaf to Felix's suggestion. Why is he so easy to say that?
• "You know I love Nicole, she's the only woman I want to marry. She's the woman I promised marriage to, so I will keep it."
• "Nicole will understand you. Maybe she'll be happy with what you'll do."
• "I'm not happy with what you say Felix!" I got up from my seat and was about to kick Felix but the two quickly stopped me.
• "Why is it so easy for you to say that I will marry someone else when I love someone else?"
• "Come to think of it Alexus, you are wasting your time. If you have not given them a grandchild, do you think you have anything left? Your parents will force you to marry Ella, and you will not want to marry that woman. Isn't it? You know Ella, once you belong to her, there is no way you could escape."
• Because of what Felix said, my mind seemed to be gradually working. I get what he is aiming for.
• "When you marry Sofia, anytime you can leave her, you can divorce her and you can hope that Nicole will not know about your marriage and about Sofia."
• "That was a relieved bro! Thank you." I thank him after I finally got what he was aiming for.
• "I told you," he promised with a laugh.
• "Sir, there is the woman who wants to apply here as a waitress," we looked at the woman who had just entered the bar.
• "Good morning sir I am glad to—"
• "Sofia?"
• "You?"
• "Please talk to me,"
• "Alexus can I? I will apply for a job so don't bother me. Ah, sir, I'm ready for the interview."
• "No, it's okay. Looks like my friend still wants to talk to you."
• "F-friend?" She asked in shock.
• "Yes,"
• "If I talk to your friend, will you accept me as your waitress?"
• "Depends on Alexus," Dylan looked at me at the same time.
• "If I talk to you, will I be accepted here?" She asked me.
• "No." I answered. 
• "So, I'm just wasting my time here? Excuse me but I'm leaving—"
• "Fine! You're accepted! Is it okay now? Will you talk to me?"
• "Really? Omg! Thank youuu! All right, let's talk,"
• "Hahaha"
• "Hahaha"
• "I really like her hahaha" Before Sofia could say anything else, I pulled her to the VIP room. You might think we are going to do something bad, right? No, I'll just really need to talk to her.
• "What are we going to talk about?" She kept asking questions.
• "I'll marry you."
• "What?"
• "Yes, I will marry you. For the sake of the child."
• "You know, what are you really crazy about? We'll just talk the other day, right? I don't want to, I'm not willing! I have a lot of dreams, Alexus. I have a dream for my future and then you'll just gonna destroy it?"
• "Why, what is your dream that I will destroy?"
• "I promised myself that I would just marry the person I love and loves me. It's not a joke to marry Alexus, and I know you just want to marry me because you want a child, then you will leave me like garbage after, right? Marry me because you love me, not because you need me."
